Canberra's first Run for 5s in 06

Postby Wotsa » Sun Jan 15, 2006 9:56 pm

A great turn out of 19 cars for our first formal run in 06. 4 new members joined with 2 'prospective' members, c'mon mightrollerman and kvision, and 12 regulars. And all for a drive around Canberra. Next we hit the hills around Canberra

Lots taken - but not by me. I'll canvas those who brought their box brownies along for some.

19 cars was a very impresssive turnout! I loved the spectacle of cruising in such a convoy of well presented 5's. I was a bit embarrased to be seen with my current nose damage (evil urban cowboy), but had a great time meeting Wotsa, Casey and others. Sorry, I didn't hang around for the sunset, but Sarah and I were yet to have dinner and had complaining stomachs. I'm keen to see some pics too.

I'm just waiting for the club website to work again so I can fire off my membership application.

Mr and Mrs Wotsa had heaps of food in their picinic basket, plus the Pilsner's had a carton of Boags Light on offer. Greenmachine brought along a Kingsleys family bucket (for himself) - there was plently of food to share.

What's a good picnic if you can't scrounge food off someone?
