I have a decent size shed, if it rains we can eat more, drink and watch tv, as well as work on what's in the shed ;)

Does anyone feel like helping out on a diff change? ;)

Sounds good.

I've done a couple of MX-5 diffs before, and am willing to help. Do you have stands or ramps....I have both if you need them?

Naturally I'll attempt to assist with a diff change, especially if it's the one I think it might be.

Do I need to bring extra ramps?

Do you have anything else to bring?

Yes, it just so happens that I also have sheepskin slippers.

J

Oh, do you own a Skoda too? (an assumption based on sheepskin slippers, cardigans and naturally aspirated mx5s)

No Skoda, but I do have a smoking jacket. Pretty cool huh?

Looking good there Jeff  :BROADY:
Someone else here (cough cough) just bought a Skoda vRS......time to bring out the racing slippers

Erm, speaking for myself, I have the cardi, smoking jacket, slippers, and the Skoda, and previously two normally aspirated MX5s. But I've also had a turbo MX5 for a while as well though so does that mean I fit into a new pigeon hole?

1. Stilletto_Rebel (Miles) - some electrical work and maybe paint my brake calipers.
2. 22 Silver - help installing new timing wheel and advancing timing.
3. Shuey - Buffing the car (buffer req'd) & maybe installing CAI.
4. Wun911 - Bleed brakes.
5. Fastfreddygassit - eat food, drink drinks and offer to round off nuts/bolts/screw heads if required. I am good at cross threading too. Nah, I'll just come to say hi.
6. Juffa - Need to adjust check/adjust softtop set plates and maybe refit NB wind blocker, and tell everyone how good I am at fitting brake pads and then prove otherwise.
7. Meanmx - Keeping Wun away from any angle grinders and brake fluid, keeping FFG away from the food and to check that Juffa has put the brake pads in correctly
8. green_comet - Stand around/talk/drink beer/eat food and maybe help out.
9. Droo - (will try to drop in), fix a rattle in my passenger foot well area, and if i'm early enough and feeling ambitious, to fix a leaky oil seal on my CAS - if it's good weather to do that.
10. davekmoore (Dave) - Might swap a seat and will have run out of expertise by then.

I don't have a cardi, smoking jacket, or slippers but I almost have a Skoda. Had 2 naturally aspirated MX5's although one went turbo and the other one will probably join it. The similarities are disturbing.

Consider me duly disturbed (mind you, people have been saying this for decades).

I've always got a camera with me (two, if you include the camera on my phone) and was planning on taking a few pics too.

Firstly, massive props to Zoran and the Mazda Car Club of Australia for hosting.
I'm pretty sure that garage was bigger than my house
Awesome set-up. I really have to put a big screen TV in my garage......and get a coonara.....
It was a pleasure to see a few old school rotors and some interesting conversions.
The MCCA were a genuinely enthusiastic crowd and it was great to be there.
Also great to put names to some faces, and it was a genuine pleasure to catch up
with a few of the old gang.
And the bbq was yummy

Can't wait to see the following:
1. shuey lowers his car,
2. if/when Juffa turbo's his,
3. Dave gets the golden beast on the road
4. Green comet takes the legendary clubman out for a garage meet.

good day had by all.
Well done to Miles for the starting the ball rolling.
Forgot to mention, Miles's car looks sensational in the martini racing colours :BROADY:
