Seems fairly heavily wooded from the pics I can find.

You can walk about 3/4 along the left hand side of the track and there are a few spots that are above the track where you can watch cars come up through a few corners. There's also somewhere to sit or stand at the start line, and plenty to see in the pits.

Today was good fun, and it was good to meet Luke and Peter with the blue NA, Lewis with the red NA and John with the silver NC, and to catch up again with Magpie and his pit crew!

It was hot! It felt like it achieved the forecast 30 degrees, and a storm passed a little to the north of the course.

I picked up a new PB, and was happy that all three of my times were under 1 second of each other, and quicker than my last PB.

Luke, with half the horsepower, was only about a second behind me, so clearly I've still got (loads of) room for improvement, and Luke's got talent!

Agree on Luke, came down from Rocky and having a ball.

Great to catch up with the other MX5 drivers, plus the announcer is going to be at Lakeside in his MX5. Had to correct the announcer after he said my car was a turbo.

Day 2 and it is raining lightly...

Day 1, enjoyed it immensely. Track is unforgiving and like lakeside needs to be respected.

Luke set a very fast time in his Mariner Blue NA6 (with a 1.8 ltr) the day 2 conditions, damp and no heat in the black stuff. Hanson and I offered to slow him down, however his father (Peter) just suggested that we pay him to do it :)

Also good to meet John McKenzie and his Silver NC (who will be at Lakeside) as well as Lewis Pitt and his Red NA6 (with a 1.8 motor).

Great 2 days, be back next year. My last run of the day with an 'oh sh*t moment' at turn 10.

Here's two of my runs from day two, one wet and one dry. The wet run was the second run on day two after the track had begun to clear a little. The dry run was my last one, and new PB of 65.16.

Whilst it was not at the Noosa Hill Climb I ran into the part owner of the Audi S1 (he recognised me as the owner of my car from Cootha and work). Had a good chat about cars and things...
