Hello everyone.
Welcome to 2016, and what can be a very busy MX5 driving year if you choose.

This year, the following events are proposed.

Monday 8th February, Lakeside. FULL DAY.
Saturday 19th March, Morgan Park. FULL DAY (SDT training is the following day)
Monday 18th April, Queensland Raceway. Afternoon session.
Monday 6th June, Lakeside
Saturday 9th July, Morgan Park. Full Day (PROPOSED)
18th July, Queensland Raceway. Half day (UNDER REVIEW)
12th September, Lakeside. Half Day
14th November, Lakeside. Half Day

Those of you who do Morgan Park will need CAMS L2S licences. This also enables you to participate in the Interclub Championship including Observation Runs, Hill Climbs, Motorkhana, Khanacross and other speed events at a variety of venues around Brisbane. More about that later.

Busy calendar there Adam. I think I'll be passing on the Morgan Park dates, just too far to drive on semislicks, especially through Cunningham's Gap. Lots of twisties and some pretty dodgy surfaces. If I get a trailer soon though, maybe I'll make the second one. Good to see drop weeks have been added to the championship structure too.

Love it! Looks good Adam. Nice to see the two (2) Morgan Park events and will be doing everything to ensure I attend. One of the best tracks around and everyone who's been on it thinks the same. Yep, it is a bit further to drive, but totally worth it!

Good to see the drop weeks since I can't make the Feb and Nov rounds, but it means I have to find a way to get to Morgan Park and carry my track tyres. Suspect we'll see some horse trading on the front in the lead up.

Should have some room on the trailer and in the tow car for several sets of track tyres... happy to help out where I can.

Like G I'm happy to help with transporting tyres/tools/fuel etc. Unfortunately no car space on the trailer for another car, but at least space for 4 tyres (205/50/15)...

Track day entry fees
QR entry system shows the entry fee as $220. This is the WORST CASE scenario, applying only to non-members paying on the day.
When entering on the QR System, it seems to stall after you click "Enter Event". But your entry has been recorded. Please do not enter repeatedly hoping for a different outcome.

Fees are: Members (non-members)
Paid before Monday 25/1/16 - $130 ($150)
Paid before Thursday 4/2/16 - $150 ($170)
Paid after Thursday 4/2/16 - $200 ($220)

Payment is directly to the MX5 Club of Queensland account. QR do not have anything to do with payments.
